Hilton Chicago
Classic now meets cool as this historic 1,544-room property on Michigan Avenue across from Grant Park completes the last bit of an all-encompassing $150 million renovation—transformation of third-floor meeting space, with seven meeting rooms suited for small meetings to medium-sized conferences for up to 850 attendees. In all, four floors are devoted to gatherings and a high-speed tech lounge.

Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch
All 910 guest rooms are shiny and new again, as is the lobby, after a multimillion-dollar refresh at this landmark downtown hotel. Asymmetrical, wavy patterns on new carpeting are inspired by the nearby Mississippi. The property offers 83,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor event space, including a grand ballroom with 19,758 sq. ft. and 18 conference rooms.

The Westin Las Vegas Hotel & Spa
What are the odds? The casino is gone, and Las Vegas has its newest nongaming, nonsmoking hotel. Four new meeting rooms have been added, bringing the total gathering space to more than 30,000 sq. ft. The 826 guest rooms have all been updated, too. Jake & Eli, a new restaurant, pays homage to the two innovators credited with creating American bourbon.
