Reimagined spaces in some of our favorite places

Hyatt Regency Shaumburg, Chicago

A $15 million renovation left the sleek, marbled space with a floating cube positioned in the middle of the atrium ceiling, anchored by a large communal table for drinks, bites and conversation. The modern vibe is echoed in Mahogany Ballroom, where 12 new chandeliers highlight the business at hand. Phase two, slated for completion in 2018, will refresh all 468 guest rooms.
