Alesha Newman
Alesha Newman was promoted to director of sales for Forest Suites Resort at Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe, California. She previously provided support and leadership to the hotel’s food and beverage, sales and conference service department, as well as revenue management, banquet and restaurant operations and event services.
Laurens Zieren
Following a position as regional vice president for a hotel management company, Laurens Zieren was appointed general manager of The Diplomat Beach Resort Hollywood, Curio Collection by Hilton in Hollywood, Florida. He previously served at Hilton for almost 20 years in leadership positions, with a total of 30 years’ experience in the hospitality industry.
Chrisie Smith
With 21 years of service for Hyatt under her belt, Chrisie Smith was named director of sales, marketing and events at Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa on Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico. She joins the hotel following a position as director of events at Hyatt Regency Dallas. She has previously served at Hyatt hotels including Hyatt Beaver Creek in Colorado and Hyatt Regency Orange County in Anaheim, California.
Paul McCormick
Paul McCormick was appointed president and CEO of Pacific Hospitality Group. He will oversee the group’s 11 properties and all new acquisitions. He most recently served as president of Miraval Group, where he was responsible for overseeing the company’s destination wellness resorts and spas, as well as the transition of Miraval’s assets to Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
Ilse Harley
Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas named Ilse Harley regional vice president and general manager, following a recent appointment at Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore. She will be responsible for overseeing the Vegas property, as well as Four Seasons properties in Atlanta, Miami, St. Louis and Baltimore. She has served at Four Seasons for almost 30 years.
