Applications are now being accepted for hosted buyers to attend IBTM Africa 2015, which will take place April 13-15 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
“Africa holds enormous potential for the MICE industry with great investment in infrastructure,” says Shinu Pillai, exhibition manager for IBTM Africa. “The rapidly growing demand for meetings industry suppliers within Africa has been reflected in the unprecedented interest witnessed from international hosted buyers who applied to attend the first IBTM Africa in 2014 and is expected to pave the way for the 2015 event.”
IBTM Africa, which is part of the Reed Travel Exhibitions portfolio, will provide a unique opportunity for meeting professionals to connect and interact with exhibitors from African and Indian destinations, venues, hotels, DMC’s and event support services. Planners can expect one-on-one appointments, networking and education.
Qualified buyers will benefit from complimentary accommodation and transfers as well as a substantial contribution towards international flights to Cape Town and will have the opportunity to apply to attend a post event tour. The event is seeking senior decision-makers from the Middle East, Europe, Asia Pacific, North America, South America and Russia.
IBTM Africa is one of three events taking place during Africa Travel Week. International Luxury Travel Market Africa will be held April 13-15. World Travel Market Africa, a business-to-business event, is scheduled for April 15-17.
